Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Dump Truck Driver to transport sand, gravel, and other aggregate materials to various locations within Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Most of our trucks are required to haul up to 80,000 lbs. You will be driving around with loads weighing up to 80,000 lbs most of the time.

Please Note: This position involves driving on rough dirt roads. It is not a dock bumping job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a dump truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Ensure the timely delivery of materials while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and stoop frequently.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to operate controls and levers.
• Ability to maintain alertness and concentration for extended periods.
• Good vision and hearing for driving and operating equipment safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the construction or aggregate industry.
• Familiarity with the local area and delivery routes.

• 2 years minimum experience of relevant experience with strong operational background
• Must Be Able To Pass Drug Test
• Must Have Valid FMCSA Medical Card
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently operate and shift manual transmissions.
• Must be able to read and write in English as per 391.11 (b)(2).
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Strong communication and team management skills to lead and motivate the team
• Proactive approach to problem solving, ability to fix issues quickly while maintaining professionalism
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines

Disqualifications:

You will not qualify for this position if you have had:

• Any DUI (Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs) convictions. (No Exceptions)
• Drug-related issues or convictions.
• A suspended or revoked driver's license.
