Our core service area is Arizona — including Maricopa, Pinal, Pima, Yavapai, and Coconino counties. For commercial projects or larger orders outside state lines, we may arrange extended deliveries on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss your job site.
We require a minimum order of 10 tons for most deliveries. Smaller orders may be possible with a small-load fee, but delivery availability depends on your location and scheduling. Our system will calculate this during checkout.
Yes, you can choose a preferred delivery date and time window when checking out. We’ll confirm with you shortly after placing the order. Same-day delivery may be available in some areas depending on truck availability.
We operate Super 16s, end dumps, and transfer trailers. Truck type depends on your location, the size of the load, and site access. We always match the right equipment to your delivery for safety and efficiency.
No, we do not offer public pickup services. All orders must be delivered by our trucks to maintain safety, proper loading, and scheduling efficiency. We operate a delivery-only model across Arizona.

Arizona Sand and Gravel can supply between 7,000 to 10,000 tons of material for large-scale projects. Whether you're managing a highway project, commercial development, or multi-phase build, we can fulfill bulk orders quickly and reliably.
We also offer priority scheduling for time-sensitive commercial orders.
We use a network of experienced drivers and dispatchers to manage complex logistics. Each load is scheduled for the right truck type — such as transfer trailers or Super 16s — and tracked to ensure accurate delivery times.
For projects over 500 tons, we recommend contacting us directly to schedule in advance.
For most standard residential or small commercial projects, delivery takes approximately 1 to 3 business days after the order is placed.
Larger commercial or DOT-scale projects may take longer due to:
We recommend ordering in advance for large or time-sensitive jobs. Our team will work with you to schedule efficiently and avoid downtime at your site.
Yes — a delivery fee is applied to each order. The cost is based on several factors:
You’ll see the delivery fee during checkout or receive it as part of your quote. We keep pricing transparent and competitive, with bundled pricing available for multi-load orders.

We keep pricing simple and transparent — the same fair rates apply to both homeowners and contractors. There are no hidden markups or tiered pricing.
However, we proudly offer a 10% discount to:
This discount applies only when the school or church is the direct customer. It does not apply to contractors or subcontractors working on behalf of these institutions.
To request the discount, the order must be placed under the school or church’s name with proper documentation if needed.
We hold deep respect for all who serve — including active-duty military, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders. Your service and sacrifice are sincerely appreciated.
At this time, we do not offer a formal discount program for service members. Our pricing is designed to be fair and consistent across all customers, with no hidden markups or inflated rates.
We do offer a 10% discount for verified schools and churches when orders are placed directly by those organizations.
We’re committed to serving everyone with honesty, transparency, and the highest level of customer care — no matter who you are or where you serve.
No — Arizona Sand and Gravel is a materials supply and delivery company. We do not offer installation, grading, or spreading services.
We also do not refer or recommend specific installers. Every customer’s expectations, budget, and site conditions are different. Recommending third-party contractors could lead to situations that reflect poorly on your experience with us — even if we had no part in the work performed.
If you need to hire someone for installation, we strongly recommend working with a licensed and insured contractor who specializes in the type of material or project you’re planning.
You can search and verify contractor licenses through the Arizona ROC (Registrar of Contractors). This ensures you're hiring someone who meets Arizona’s legal and professional standards.
Reminder: Just because a contractor shows up on Google or social media doesn’t mean they’re qualified. Always request a license number, proof of insurance, and check their standing on the Arizona ROC website before signing any agreement.
Yes — we understand that project timelines change. If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Call or message our dispatch team to make changes — we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your request.
No — we do not offer Net 30 or post-delivery billing. All orders must be paid in full before delivery is scheduled.
For most orders under $10,000, we accept secure online payments at checkout. For orders over $10,000, payment must be made via ACH bank transfer at least 7 business days before the project start date to ensure scheduling and materials are secured.
For large or multi-phase deliveries, we require a deposit up front. Deliveries will be fulfilled up to the value of the deposit, with additional materials released as further payments are made until the full order is completed.
This policy ensures scheduling reliability, minimizes project delays, and allows us to allocate equipment and materials specifically for your job.
We deliver to residential, commercial, and public job sites throughout Arizona, including Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Yavapai, and surrounding counties.

Great question! A ton measures weight, while a cubic yard measures volume. The conversion between the two depends on the material’s density.
For example:
We sell most materials by the ton to ensure you get consistent pricing and accurate load weight. If you're used to calculating in yards, we recommend using our Material Calculator to convert your project needs.
We match each delivery with the right truck to ensure safety, efficiency, and material protection. Not every truck is designed to handle every type of load.
For example, our 25-ton trucks are perfect for bulk orders but can't safely carry materials like 2"+ rock — that kind of load risks damaging standard beds. In those cases, we assign reinforced trucks, which may have slightly lower capacity (22–23 tons), but are built for durability.
Likewise, we avoid sending a 25-ton truck for a 10-ton delivery. It’s inefficient and can cause delays. Our dispatch system ensures that each order is matched with the most appropriate and efficient truck.
Yes — in most cases, buying by the ton gives you more material than buying by the yard.
That’s because a ton measures actual weight, while a cubic yard measures volume. Heavy materials like gravel, sand, or rip rap often weigh more than 1 ton per yard, depending on moisture, compaction, and rock type.
For example:
So when you buy by the ton, you’re typically getting more volume for the price than if you were paying by the cubic yard — especially with dense materials.
That’s why we sell by the ton: it’s more consistent, accurate, and fair for our customers.
The difference comes down to fines (dust and small particles) and how the material performs. More fines usually means better compaction and “lock-in.” Fewer fines usually means better drainage.
* All products contain fines — yes, even washed.

Very few products are available as washed. Most materials are offered as screened or minus. If your project specifically requires washed rock (typically drainage), check the product listing or contact us and we’ll confirm availability.
